The young Afro-Brazilian artist was born in Rio de Janeiro in 1997. His artistic practices have deep roots in Afro-diasporic issues, exhibiting original and unique works through paintings and three-dimensional pieces. In his artistic universe, much revolves around the memory of transatlantic journeys carried out during the early stages of colonization in Brazil. He sees the sea, nature, and the Adinkra ideograms as extensions of his own body and as a metaphor for the community, placing them as central figures in his works. With this approach, these elements gain the ability to narrate their own stories, fostering connections with the past and offering new paths for interpretation in the future.
