Individual Exhibition of Pascal Hachem at Galeria Karla Osorio: A Dialogue Between Art and Everyday Life
Galeria Karla Osorio proudly announces the solo exhibition of renowned Lebanese artist Pascal Hachem, whose work transcends the boundaries between art and everyday life.
About the Exhibition “CRAFTED IN THE SKY”
“CRAFTED IN THE SKY” is a deep immersion into the complexity of human existence and the emerging narratives from everyday experiences. In this unprecedented series, Pascal Hachem uses simple gestures and objects loaded with memory to tell intense and poetic stories, each work reflecting lived moments transformed into artifacts of reflection.
During his artistic residency in Brazil, Hachem incorporated local cultural elements and striking impressions, such as the vision of kites cutting through the air, which dialogue with the permanence of loss. These experiences create a contrast with the sounds of violence and destruction that define the daily life of his homeland, echoing in the exhibited works. The exhibition raises questions such as “To what extent are we responsible for our actions?” and “Who really controls our gestures?”, creating a sensitive dialogue between control, creation, and chaos.
The exhibition presents an “emotional manual,” inviting the public to revisit the relationship between image, action, and fiction that shape our daily lives. The exhibition positions us as witnesses to the fragility of existence and the strength of human gestures, exploring the intersection between destruction and construction in search of new possibilities for reflection.
