About the Exhibition
The exhibition showcases exclusive artworks, developed during an artistic residency at Hangar in Lisbon. Moisés Patrício presents a selection of drawings and paintings that explore Brazilian identity in a unique way. The artist describes his work as an exploration of listening, slowness, and everyday ritualism, addressing themes such as Afro-Brazilian politics and philosophy, globalization and its erasures, friendship, family, and migration, humanity and permanence.
About the Artist
Moisés Patrício is renowned for his sensitive and critical approach, capable of transforming spaces with colors and symbols. His works engage with ancestrality and invisible knowledge, carrying influences from the Global South, Afro-Brazilian traditions, and spiritual practices.
