Karla Osorio Gallery takes the spotlight at booth D09 during SP-Arte Rotas 2025, held at Arca (Avenida Manuel Bandeira, 360 – Vila Leopoldina, São Paulo) from August 28 to 31. The booth presents works by Bené Fonteles, Moisés Patrício, Selva de Carvalho, and special guest Afshan, offering powerful reflections on the relationship between humans and animals from diverse artistic perspectives.
Bené Fonteles and Moisés Patrício address ancestry through striking sculptures, paintings, and installations inspired by Brazil’s hinterlands and animal symbolism. Fonteles has participated in five editions of the São Paulo Biennial, while Patrício joins for the first time in the 36th edition, curated by Bonaventure Soh Bejeng Ndikung.
Selva de Carvalho from São Paulo and guest artist Afshan from Iran showcase pieces inspired by the anatomical structure of humans and animals, using ceramics and porcelain. Visitors will find suspended sculptures and utilitarian pieces, exploring themes of identity and transformation.
SP-Arte Rotas 2025 is open August 28 from 1 pm to 8 pm, August 29 and 30 from 12 pm to 8 pm, and August 31 from 12 pm to 7 pm. Further details can be found on SP-Arte Rotas 2025’s official channels.
