Karla Osorio Gallery is pleased to announce the representation of the acclaimed artist Élle de Bernardini. The announcement coincides with the opening of the exhibition Corpo Expandido, the artist’s first solo show in Brasilia. Élle de Bernardini (Itaqui, 1991) lives and works in São Paulo. She is trained in classical ballet by the Royal Academy of Dance of London. She is a transsexual woman with a production permeated by her biography. His works address the intersection of gender, sexuality, politics and identity with the history of humanity and art. His work has been exhibited in national institutions such as, Museu de Arte de São Paulo/MASP, Museu de Arte do Rio/MAR, Museu de Arte do Rio grande do Sul/MARGS, Museu Nacional da República, Memorial da America Latina, MAC-RS, Pivô Arte e Pesquisa, Farol Santander, Centro Cultural São Paulo.
