Janelle Lynch

Janelle Lynch is an American large-format landscape photographer. She graduated in Liberal Arts from The New School, New York. M.F.A. in Photography and Related Media from the School of Visual Arts, New York. Lynch’s photographs form part of over 40 public, private, and corporate collections worldwide, including the Brooklyn Museum, Brooklyn; Newark Museum, Newark; Fundacíon Vilas Casas, Barcelona.

She has exhibited internationally, including solo exhibitions at CCBB, Brasília; Galeria 3 Punts, Barcelona; Museo de Arte Contemporaneo Salta, Argentina; Photographic Resource Center, Boston; Southeast Museum of Photography, Daytona; Burchfield Penney Art Center, Buffalo. Lynch’s practice has been supported by substantial 8-x-10 film grants from Kodak. She is a faculty member at the International Center of Photography, and she writes about contemporary issues in photography, review books and exhibitions for Afterimage, The Photo Review and Photo-Eye.
