Élle de Bernardini solo show presents a selection of recent works (sculpture, expanded paintings & performance photographs), in which the artist thinks on the human body differently from the binarity of gender. Her works awake the public with original forms, colour and sagacity.

The selection includes, mainly, works of the last 3 years of the artist, in which it possible to notice her vast research on the body and its possibilities of existing in the world. “SEE ME, IF YOU CAN” puts together a selection of sculptural works, expanded paintings and performance photographs, which invite us to think the human body differently from the binarity of gender, man or woman.

With rare wit, the brazilian artist demonstrates with her artwoks that transformations of society for reasons of gender, race and class are already present reality. She invites us to look and reflect. Her works awake the public with its refined choice of textile materials, the diversity of colors, the desire for touch, for getting closer, as a strategy to demystify subjects related to the universe of gender and sexuality throught the arts.

“We can think of reality in different ways, but all the new possibilities of existing in the world go before the exercise of thinking different bodies”, says the artist.
