Matheus Marques Abu show PROPHECY, opens in Milan, at Plain Gallery, with the support of the Brazilian Consulate in Milan and the Galeria Karla Osorio.
Prophecy is characterized as form of divine manifestation. A key to unlocking it is to understand, not only the literal meaning of a word but also what it symbolizes.
All the eight works – paintings and tridimensional installative objects – were created by Matheus during his residency in Milano, based in his long and dense research inspired by the creation myths of the Yoruba culture.
